Click Resources in the top navigation bar of www.remotepilot101.com. Scroll to the FAA Testing Centers section.
From here you will see three links, CATs or Lasergrade, services which will help you register at a testing location near you; and, FAA Testing Centers which is a directory of testing centers near you. You will then contact the testing center directly to schedule the exam.
Remember:
Once you have scheduled the exam, you will want to make sure you ask the testing center what their testing fee is (usually around $150, but it can vary). The testing center will give you a testing appointment and you will need to bring:
- Current certificates (RPIC, pilot, etc.)
- A valid, government-issued photo ID
- Course certificate with your endorsement (for manned pilot test takers only)
- A method of payment for the exam
Best of luck on the exam and please let us know how it turns out!
